I'm showing my ignorance but how do you set the parameters for audio when converting video files. All mine have converted with no sound! Any ideas?

They're AVI files from a Samsung VP-MX10 camera. I'm trying to either keep them AVI or turn them into WMA. When I click on the propeties of the file there is only General info available not Summary. Does this help?

I was using windows media player and I've tried to download several conversion programs which so far has resulted in all of them except one saying they cannot convert the file. The one program that worked is by media convert. These will convert the files but still no audio. I can always attach a file if you have any better ideas for the converting.
